Crucial match, India chasing a modest total of 153 against England loses two early wickets and surprisingly Dhoni sends in Ravindra Jadeja at number 4! A BIG BIG mistake. BIG because Yuvraj - A batsman who has changed the outcome of the matches single handedly, was sent after Ravindra Jadeja.
Also, 2 wides by Harbhajan Singh in the 18th and 20th over which went for boundaries, alone accounted as 10 additional runs. At that juncture, I knew it could be the turning point. Though it was the turning point, Ravindra Jadeja's innnings over-shadowed it. Not being too critical on the lad, but if you're playing at international level, you need to score my friend.
To say the least, as a true Indian Cricket fan, I'm gutted!
Do you think Dhoni did the right thing by sending in Ravindra Jadeja or he erred this time around? Pls. leave in your comments and share your insight.
Till then, have a good evening.
